New version of WordPress brings in few changes helping managing site. Creators have also added short film that enable visitors to admire enhancements done.

Some of those changes are:

  • Wiki-like tracking of edits
  • Image caption
  • Revamped image control (integrated with WYSIWYG)
  • Extended info about comments
  • Customizable default avatars
  • Improved post publication
  • Select a range of checkboxes with “shift-click”
  • Complex support for SSl
  • New versions of TinyMCE, jQuery and jQuery UI

In total 194 bugs have been fixed.
